About

Raul Arias

Raul was assigned to the USS Boone at Naval Station Mayport and after completing military service, he decided to make Jacksonville his home. Since 2007, Raul has owned and operated Mambos Cuban Café, creating jobs and helping our local economy. Mambos has since grown to three restaurants across Jacksonville, including one on the Southside.

In addition to running a successful small business, Raul is actively involved in our community. He is an appointee and Vice Chair of the Jacksonville Housing Community Development Commission and volunteer for the Police Athletic League

Three pillars Raul stands for!

● Safer Streets and Supporting Law Enforcement

As a Navy Veteran, Raul knows that the first role of government at all levels is to keep the public safe. That is why Raul is an unapologetic supporter of the men and women of law enforcement and will work with our Sheriff and JSO to keep the community safe.

● Prioritizing a High Quality of Life through Improved Infrastructure

It is critical that our infrastructure, roads and public services keep up with our growing communities. As our district Councilmember, Raul will be a strong advocate for our neighborhoods.

● Boosting Our Economy with a Commonsense Conservative Approach

Raul will fight to cut red tape, lower our taxes, support Jacksonville’s small businesses and be a good steward of our hard-earned tax dollars.
